Hi! I figure with all the technical medical documents I have posted it might more interesting to hear my story.
My name is Magic and at the end of January 2010 I was diagnosed with Scoliosis. I have Thoracic scoliosis AND Lumber scoliosis. Have been told my lumbar curve is the worst of both curves. That I believe from the pain felt from it.
This is an xray with very similar results to mine:

When my back is tired I begin slowly stooping.
First I feel the 'tiredness' in my upper back, then my lower back begins slowly hurting. When I do too much standing in one spot and then sit down the pain feels like someone is using a razor knife to cut through my lower spine. After a few seconds of take my breath away pain, the pain vanishes.
I can stand up but continue to feel extreme tiredness in my upper back. Standing or even just walking around prolongs the pain's arrival. It will come back again.
As my scoliosis is Adult Scoliosis which was not diagnosed when I was a teenager my back is very arthritic. My joints pop like a bag of popcorn when I make sudden movements.
Taking Arthrotec stops the stiff feelings in my legs mainly. If I don't drink enough water I am guaranteed wicked leg cramps.
I go for weekly physiotherapy which my insurance only covers less than half of. Unfortunately physiotherapy is only a band-aid. Nothing will ever stop the scoliosis from continuing to curve my spine.
The most important thing for me is NOT to fall and break anything as my bones are very low in calcium. I am pre-osteoporosis.
Having Scoliosis is very expensive.
I know I am not the only person in Brandon living with this. I really would love to hear your story. If you are shy or whatever just PM me.
