Local grocery store to have gf products located together

One of the local grocery stores has indicated that they will be setting up a new food area in the store where certain products including gluten free items will be kept in one area.
I was told it would be a couple of weeks in the making and that they have had numerous requests for such a thing.
I have also contacted other local carriers of gf products and have inquired about the possibility of them keeping all gluten free products in a dedicated area.
I know a number of my family members are reluctant to purchase items, especially bulk items, situated close to gluten containing items.
If anyone else has similar feelings letting your local grocer know may help them deliver a more consumer convenient and friendly product.
