I'm due to have my first child in a month and my husband and I are pretty clueless as to what we need. I've got lists, but have some questions about certain items.  
First off, how many receiving blankets should one have? Are they mainly used for swaddling? Am I supposed to use a blanket in the crib for the baby? What kind? I know they should be smallish and tucked into the sides and stuff. My biggest question has to do with strollers/travel systems. I'm looking at a Baby Trend jogging stroller/travel system which mainly gets great reviews except one of the complaints are that it doesn't recline enough to have the baby lying flat. Is this important? I live out of town and really need something that's going to be good on gravel roads for walks. What strollers would you recommend?
