Taking the wife out - Ideas?
8/18/2009 at 9:56 AM
I am taking my wife out for a much needed "date night", on Friday starting at 5PM. I live in Neepawa, where there's not a whole lot to do, plus it would be nice to get away. So, on the limited budget that we have, I was hoping to get out to Brandon. However, I don't really know what Brandon has that would be nice for a date night, type scenario, on a budget.
We do not want to go to any of the bars or clubs, or whatever the kids are calling them these days, but I know that my wife likes to dance, is there any other option for us to consider, for something like that? Dancing, but without the super loud music, and the excessive drinking?
Also, I've heard about 2 new places in Brandon that have caught my eye with regards to eating out, there's Vern's Pizza, and there was talk of a new sandwich place somewhere (not sure of the name). We're not very fancy people, so this is not an insult for me to be considering pizza or sandwiches on a date night. But I was wondering, does Vern's have a sit in area, where you can order by the slice? And does the sandwich place have the same, but I am also not sure when it is open till, or where it is. And finally, on this topic of food, which would you think to be the better "date night" location.
And to end this all off with, is there anything/anywhere that might be good to check out that would be nice to take my wife to, or that I might want to consider dropping by to see, etc?
Just a final note on my wife and myself: We are 26/28 respectively, and like to have fun, just not the type of fun where you don't remember it the next day. So, if you can keep that in mind when suggesting things please.
And to sum up the final PS note to this message. Thanks to all for your time to read that novel, and for your comments(unless they're mean, then no thanks to that).
