The NY Times says the new relationship pitfall is a trend inspired by Facebook: Facebook fighting. Seems the reason couples go public with their fights is so their friends can weigh in, or they can get the chance to tell their side of the story.  
 
But is that a good thing? According to psychologists, that would be a no. They say public arguments convey instability, volatility, and unhappiness.
