So you've gotten through the hurt, your ready to proceed with your life, I think so many people know what I mean hence the forum I post this in. However, in your newly found freedom so to speak, you find difficulty finding anything close to worth it.. The heart is a difficult thing, it has memory, for the best, and the worst.  
 
So, in hopes to eliminate the social awkwardness, some tend to turn to dating sites, for informal introductions, and impersonal first hello's. Now I am not negating the successes of dating sites, for some of the most successful relationships started online, however, lets peek a little further.  
 
Relationships, what can we really say about them? What jumps into your mind when you think of the word? Excitement, nervousness, perhaps a little sense of self preservation? Regardless, we still put ourselves out there, a stronger us, rejuvenated so to speak. However, am I the only one who finds the journey to find a new relationship worth anything more than a one night stand extremely difficult?  
 
Dating sites seem to just perpetuate the very frustration I only wish to alleviate, and the bar scene just leaves me alone late at night depressed, other than that, I find it difficult to even find a crowd in Brandon. So your really interested in a potential relationship, your ready, your stronger, but one thing is missing, PEOPLE.  
 
Okay so I don't mean to discourage anyone, but I mean as a military man myself, I look forward to a Friday night on the town, however, not in bars, and not from a useless relationship website that only... well to speak frankly discourages me all together, and I don't want to be discouraged, so my proposal is this.  
 
I'm not going to propose the stereotypical, "Singles Night." because quite frankly no one is going to show their faces, which okay, that is understandable. But lets get a little creative.  
 
 
Two Words ladies and gentlemen, Speed Dating! I've heard of so many successes, and in my personal experience it's very fun and enjoyable..  
 
 
Just an Idea... I've kinda run out of options at this point, anyone have anything further.. That would be really appreciated!
