How do you know it was common among oil workers or that it's just oil workers getting women pregnant and only spread diseases? Did you ask every woman who gave birth 2 years ago? Do you know their medical history to say they contracted Sexually Transmitted Diseases? That is a big rumor and stereotype and would border on prejudice and discrimination.

Let your sister/fellow girl know!

Just like another poster, I too was cheated on by someone that I lived with, loved and cared for. Never had any suspicions that he was cheating. I found out on my own, and learned that it had been going on for quite some time. I only wish someone had told me sooner so that I could've ended the relationship earlier and moved on with my life. At the end of the day, the decision is all your own. Good luck with whatever you decide to do.

the wife situation, I would like someone to tell me. I would think most wives would like to know instead being the last to find out while people around you knew.

I cut off ties immediately even though he gave my number to his friends so he'd have a safe go-between and I told him to lose my number entirely and disappear from my life and it was honestly the only thing that kept me sane at all.
