I know it feels impossible right now, but in one year time when you have moved through this you will see this all differently.  
 
Take things day by day. Your friends have moved into a new stage of their life and you will get there too. There is a world of difference between High School and University that you will come to understand once you move through this.  
 
Keep your head up!

This is my take on it. In highschool I had tons of friends. Always somthing to do. People to see. But now that I've graduated highschool and graduated college and started working. I barley talk to any of those friends any more. And I'm only 26. But you will see it happen infront of you. Jobs take over lives. Boyfriends and then finances and having family's take over lives. I still talk to some of my highschool friends. But only a few of them. Highschool friends are great. But it's not the be all and end all. Focus on your education and you will be happier in the end when you have a great career.

It's best to accept it and move on - you will reduce stress this way  
Try to join a group of sorts and find a new friend for now  
 
It's the same when a friend gets married and you are still single, they hang with married people and you feel left out - then they have children and you are totally on the back burner

The other posters alluded to it, but our lives have seasons. Most friends are only friends for a season, and then we move on. It's pretty rare that we stay friends with people as we move through big transitions like finishing high school, or getting married, having babies, etc.  
 
Also, around 18 is tough. If your friends are 18 or older, they can hang out at the bar or sit around and have a beer. Legally, if you're under 18, you can't unless it's with your parents. It's very possible what constitutes "hanging out" for these friends is different than what you're able to participate in.  
 
Let them go. You will make new friends, but it might not be until you're done high school. You just split with your boyfriend, which is making it seem especially lonely. But he's right - they shouldn't make you feel like that. But never, ever be with someone who forces you to choose.

There is a way to feel good no matter what others are doing. I wish I had known how to do it when I was in high school. But at 51, I have finally learned how and this has allowed me to create the perfect life for me! Do yourself a favour and check out Abraham Hicks Relationships on YouTube. I get that, and it hurts when people leave your life, because it really is all about the relationships!  
whether they were great friends or lousy boy friends, it doesnt matter who they were when they go, it sucks to feel like you have been left behind. All I can say is that its ok to feel sad for a bit, but keep your heart set on doing what you love. As people come and go in your life, if you have a target too, it will help you be able to love them and let them go, as you will see that they are on their own path. and if your way is clear to you, there will be some who will stick with you all the way. These are perspectives you can grow into.  
Something that you might grab onto now, take a look at that boyfriend, what he said to you when you needed him, sorry Mr that makes him someone who you should have been looking to leave. That doesn't make it feel any better I know, but look back on this in 2 months, and ask yourself. Was I keeping someone in my life who was pulling me down? Why did I do that? Why were they doing that?  
Your story is yours to write, go explore the world. As you discover more of yourself ,you'll find your path, and the next time some douche say pick me or yourself, the answer will be a little easier, but it will still hurt a little. because relationships are what matter. remember to take care of the relationship with your self!

As people grow up, they're social circles change, it s called life.  
 
Theres nothing unusual here. Your friend goes to college and you expect him to not hang out with his college classmates and buddies who share common interests (courses) and environment (campus).  
 
If your friend went to college and didn't hang out with his classmates but instead came back to his old high school to hang out with the high school crowd, people would be saying that he should grow up and move on. Sounds like he's done just that.
