I think some women are tired of being oogled all the time. We start out our life being very friendly and full of energy. If you are an attractive woman and have had years off and on of being single, you tire of men constantly oogling you. It is very refreshing when a man has a conversation and makes eye contact the entire time.  
 
Men and women have changed during the past few decades. Men have become less respectful and women are putting themselves out there for sex - which causes men to be less respectful. It is a nasty circle. Time and time again, I find men primarily want one thing. It is hard to find a guy with integrity, especially one over the age of 35 that is single. Search POF, everyone is looking for a casual connection. This is why women, more and more, are becoming less friendly. We are tired of the new generation of men. If you see a woman dating a respectable older man, she is dating him because he treats her well.

Again, I'm not accusing the OP of anything here. I'm simply trying to explain the reason why some women respond the way they do.

Lots of women have developed a creep sense. It''''''''s hardly rudeness if they ignore you when you''''''''re talking with them solely with the intention of trying to take them home. I''''''''ve never been treated rudely by a woman I don''''''''t know in Brandon when I talk to them, because I''''''''m not trying to pick them up.  
 
Woman, especially young, relatively fit and cute ones, have absolutely no shortage of men to date within their own circles. Why would they want to go out with some guy who randomly taps them on the shoulder at the grocery store and starts trying to talk to them? They don''''''''t owe you anything just because they''''''''re a woman around you.  
 
If you want to meet women, the kind of women interested in strangers are all online on tinder and plenty of fish and other dating apps/sites. Use those and stop creeping up on some woman who just wants to shop or walk in peace after an exhausting day.  
 
It''''''''s bizarre how many of these older, out of shape men think all they need to pick up women is an aura of confidence. Instead of thinking about what she brings to the table, look instead at what you bring to the table. Are you at least within the same age range? Are you in great shape ie not skinny fat but with visible muscles and abs? Are you handsome? Are you rich? Unless you answered yes to at least 3/4 you''''''''re very unlikely to just randomly swoon women off the street. Believe me, they''''''''ve already met guys who match their criteria.  
 
Go online, date within your league (no college super models go with beer bellied middle age plumbers) and stop acting like you'''re just a nice guy trying to start up a convo when the sole purpose of it is to get the women back home in your bed. Brandon women (and women everywhere) respond to genuine niceness, not awkward pick up attempts. You're not being a nice guy, you're being a creep, and they can all tell

However, that being said - not all women are about looks only. You can be a gentleman who is not in great shape but treats a woman well and end up with a great woman.  
 
The men who literally turn around in the line up and look us up and down, thinking we are picking up something from that behaviour.. I have no idea what they are trying to accomplish but it creeps us right out and it's all I can do, to not punch the guy in the face.
