I know I shouldn't be asking this question here especially just to a random person. But I'm so confused now. So I have a friend who just talked to me last night. She like someone else at her work. She said they are friends but not really close. My friend are 19 now and the guy is 18 or turning 18 (I forgot) but she older than him. That guys is some kind of known at his school, so probably there's a lots of girls liking him. And my friend told me that he's single. But she doesn't know if the guy will gonna like him too. She's asking me if she should tell to the guy that she likes him or not. Please help.

For what it is worth many guys have said they are oblivious to our subtle little hints we try to give that we are interested in them.  
 
Guys don't like games and I think she shold consider saying something like "I think you are kid of cute. Let me know if you ever want to hang out." Then get out of there, let him think about it, and see if he does anything.

I agree with what happy hour said, guys are silly and no guy worth his weight was ever insulted by a girl expressing interest, so i say she should swallow her pride, take a chance and say something, just because he seems popular doesnt mean he doesnt like her anyway, and if its only as friends oh well, life goes on

Who cares about awkward? They're 18 or 19 years old. I'm generalizing here, but their jobs are likely entry-level service industry jobs in a business with high staff turnover. It's not like anyone would be jeopardizing a long-term career by taking a risk in this situation.

that was just my opinion. Relax, just trying to shoot some adult advice out there. They may not be planning on keeping that job forever but if you break up and weren't planning on finding another job yet you're still stuck in an awkward situation if it doesn't end well or it doesn't even happen at all and they get rejected.

I tend to agree with this statement, having been in this situation a few times. I learned from experience too and steer clear of it now. You don't know how long you are going to be working there even if you are looking for a different job. Most people will listen to good advice, but are less likely to take it. Feelings usually win over logic, LOL.
