Ok full disclosure.... I currently have a profile on POF and no I wouldn't say I have a list persay on my profile. I do talk about that I want someone honest and upfront about things. No liars. So I wouldn't consider that a list, but I do think a list isnt a bad thing. If someone is looking for an actual relationship and is trying to weed out those that are looking for a hook up or one nighter. For those guys that posted here that girls all have lists. I wouldn't count those girls out unless you have actually talked to them. Most have a starting list to protect themselves or its a starting off point doesn't mean that list is concrete. I have a pretty generic list in my head of someone that I am attracted to (friendly, good job, sense of humor, treats family well), but that doesn't mean that I only want to meet that exact list. I know you can't count someone out because of a checklist. So I think you gentlemen shouldn't also count someone out just because she might have a list, who knows maybe she meets you and the list doesn't matter.  
 
I have met some real crazies on POF but I have met some good guys on there as well and yes the crazies sure out weigh the good ones. Be patient, what can it really hurt to at least try.

Have to differ with you regarding paid sites yielding better chances of finding someone genuinely interested in a relationship. I've done the social club thing (Prairie Social Singles) matchmakers (Candlelight Introductions) even video dating when it was trendy (Personal Encounters). Cumulatively I've spent hundreds of dollars over the years and never saw any results. I'm not being ultra picky, I just have never met anybody I felt chemistry/attraction to via those avenues. Conversely, to my knowledge there has never been anyone I've met who was attracted to me, or if they were, I wasn't savvy enough to read the cues.

Everybody has them but some are ridiculous.  
 
I have seen lists that i:nclude "no facial hair", "must trim nose hair", "must have their own teeth" etc - things that have nothing to do with a person's personality.....  
 
And seriously, does EVERY woman on there hunt and fish??? I don't so I guess that's a strike against me, lol.  
 
I was SO tempted at one time to make a dummy account with a list made up of and parodying some of the women's lists....

if they want dirty and kinky tell them to dress up as a maid and clean your floors.

I found profile removal was the best choice.

I've been on POF for over 2 years and Here's a list of problems with POF girls  
 
-Most are superficial  
-Some have daddy/ex boyfriend issues  
- some just want a baby daddy or are desperate  
- some are common street hores  
- they feel that guys are here for them and they don't have to put any effort in  
- some have 3-4 kids with 3-4 different guys  
- some don't take care of themselves (look like they were trapped in the basement for the last 10 years  
- oldies looking for young guys, young girls looking for older guys  
- one nighters, FWB, NSA, etc etc  
- girls on there who are moving away and are still looking  
- girls who put "mom, mommy, stay at home mom" under profession or don't have a job  
- girls who lie on their profile (baited profile)  
- girls with all guy friends  
- girls who switch from dating guys to girls and back and forth  
- girls with no ambition, motivation or drive  
- girls who are too busy with work and kids to date but yet they are still looking  
- girls who don't want to meet, just wanna stay "pen pals"  
- girls who won't show pictures or make you jump through hoops to get a picture  
- military enthusiast/ anti military  
 
Now I'm not saying guys are any better, I'm just putting my observations, experiences, and knowledge on here in case some of you girls/women are either/some of thee above...

Uhhhhh.....Half_Mast, I'm guessing the lovely people of eBrandon may have some feedback as to why you're not having any luck on PoF.  
 
I mean, imagine! People not changing their sexuality to suit you. So unfair.

Pointing one finger forward, you are always pointing three back.  
 
The only two, out of that impressive list, that I ran into:  
 
- girls who are too busy with work and kids to date but yet they are still looking  
- girls who won't show pictures or make you jump through hoops to get a picture  
 
However? The no picture ones I ignored and the first group always stated exactly that. I fail to see the problem.  
 
You can go anywhere, join any group, and find the exact same list of things you do not like. POF is simply a slice of society.

Half_Mast, you need to wait until at least the third date before you show people how judgmental you are. I think I can see why people don't want to meet in person and are reluctant to share photos with you.

First of all, im not expecting anyone to change their sexuality.. Don't know where that came from... Secondly, some of these things never happened to me.. It happened to friends of mine or people I know... And yes to me too... Im not judging anyone.. I'm just stating some of the negatives

In your earlier post, you took issue with

That is a bisexual person. Bisexuality is one of many sexualities. And you're on here saying it's a negative.  
 
I'm not going to argue with you about all your points (thankfully I don't know you in real life, so I get to ignore all this as a whacko on the internet), but you literally just said something, in writing, and then denied it.
