Do you find that people you attract into your life as friends look like you ? Also couples that look like each other have good relationships , thoughts

The couples that we hang around with do not look like us at all. Most of them I/we know from work church friends etc. Same income and interest things in that line

maybe you don't see it but a outsider could .

Well my husband and I have a large array of "friends". I'm Caucasian and my husband is from Western Africa, so our groups rang from white people to black to European, to Spanish. We are younger, and majority of our friends are older couples, for me especially as I associate with the 55+ group more than anything else... we have young children and although most of our fiends do have children, their kids would be around the same age or older than I am haha. I can count on 1 hand the friends I have who are my age/have young kids/look like me/same income bracket.. my best friend is an elderly African America lady from the states lol safe to say she is a little different than me. But I love the verity my social circle brings, different outlooks, different cultures, and some pretty awesome array of food hahaha

I have been thinking about similar things lately. I have been noticing couples I see look like each other, the longer they are together the more they look like they could be blood related. I also notice that people and their pets have comparisons that can be made!  
There was a 2010 issue of psychology today that said studies show we choose people who resemble our parents and ourselves. So this is likely a natural thing and you and I are not crazy for noticing.

At times, we fall in line with people of the same interests and likeness especially to our own beliefs/rituals/eatting habits as a necessity in making a relation with others. For instance, you wouldn't go out for dinner with someone if you didn't share the same tastes. And you wouldn't necessarily go for drinks with someone who doesn't drink.  
 
So, we attract people who share our own interests. There are naturally exceptions. But as for appearances. This is a whole other game.  
 
I've had friends suggest that spending time closely with the ones we love, their habits and quirks tend to rub off. And physically we do start to take similar shapes. Of course there are many aspects and variances to consider.  
 
Life is beautiful

One example from the presentation that stuck with me. Is about obese people. Or those with gluttonous tendencies. They naturally haven't got the heavy burdens of physical appearances. And tend to live a more happy jovial style of life. Laughing. And sharing their delectable goods. Very giving, and nurturing. So, in a sense that will rub off on someone. And naturally, you could take on a similar appearance. Just an idea.

I guess where the bible says "two shall become as one flesh", it just was not metaphorically speaking, but literal.

I recall proximity and similarity being mentioned as key factors in formation of relationships.
