I have taken up the hobby of harvesting diamond willow. Does anyone else out there know what this willow looks like, or anyone else doing the same. It is very time consuming, peeling off the bark and cleaning out the diamonds, but the end result is just awesome. Once they are peeled and cleaned, they will of course need quite some time to dry out properly, but when dried and varnished, they make beautiful walking sticks, mantle pieces,canes, etc.... I really enjoy it and wondered if anyone else took interest in it.
