Donald Trump just announced he is running for President of the United States!

I think he'll be fired.

Is this thread a joke of the day or did he actually announcement? Do you have a reliable like / news thread? (Huffington Post does NOT count lol)

I would have bet the farm he would never run, and its always just been a publicity stunt, he is such a blow hard.  
he will never win he says hes not taking donations and using his own money,all the big money involved will drown him out, the Koch brothers have a group that is out raise 900 million dollars for a republican candidate that will do their bidding

I think its actually a good choice depending on what his platfor will be. He has a strong sense of ethics, he is business savi and possess strong leadership skills.  
 
Which party will he be running with? Democratic or Republican?

Is loaded with cash and will get a lot of support from the right wingers and far out right wingers at that. He's definately a "Republican". He does have deep pockets, but I don't think the GOP will pick him as their leader as he too far right wing for this generation of voters. He'd make Goerge Bush Jr. look like a "mommy craddling" Liberal. He's just as far if not further to the right as Ted Nugent, and that says a lot. Would be scary indeed if he did end up as the next president!
