Ok, I've had it! I have always kept my kitchen towel hanging in the stove like my mother did, and I'm sure her mother before her. But seriously, I pick that thing up 25 times a day as people brush against it and knock it down. It needs a new home.  
 
Where do YOU keep your kitchen towel?

I agree. Mine is on the stove as well and I pick it up all the time. I’ve tried to put in on the inside of my lower cupboard door and my family assumes I forgot to put it on the stove door.Its quite the joke to watch us actually.

I keep mine on the stove and picking it up like others. I have some hockey tape at work I am going to bring home and wrap around the stove handle. This will make it less slippery and give some friction to the towel.

If that don't work the best spot for the dish towel is in my wife's hands drying dishes lmao.

Stick a piece of Velcro tape to the top of the handle. It grabs the cloth and makes it less easy to slip off

Haha, too funny. I must have special tea towels because I keep mine on the stove handle too and I pick it up maybe once a week, if that..and 4 little people fly past it multiple times a day lol  
 
The one downstairs is kept on the fridge door but it’s an older fridge...most don’t have that handle anymore

is it just a decorative thing ?  
I saw this craft to use up leftover material it's called a towel belt to hold the towel in place on the oven handle works pretty good , another thing I thought about are hair accessories pony tail elastics there are some cute styles & colors for matching .

I used to have a towel rack, but it broke off the wall. So, back to the oven handle lol.

LOL, that's cute!! But alas, my towel is functional. It may or may not make it through the day before needing changing (we're a lot of people and it gets used a lot, and not always appropriately).  
 
But it's reassuring that I'm not the only one with this issue!  
 
I might try the hockey tape thing. I sometimes wonder if just different towels will "stick" better, but I have lots of the same type and don't want to replace them all.

Does not fall down on a regular basis. But my daughter uses the towel bar as a climbing bar so sometimes I have to pick up off the floor.

Ours is a similar idea to the pic posted, but we used some large 3M hooks on the end of our island and hang a towel over each 3M hook.

I tie my towel to the handle so that it doesn't get knocked off. I like the idea of a rubber band.  
 
The other tie (in the picture) looks like a fancy version of an 80's scrunchie!

Seriously pick it up so many times, but I have a toddler who spills and uses them to clean up but can't hang it back up so on the floor it goes. It's usually on the floor or on the counter cause it won't stay on the oven door. We have a dishwasher so I don't typically use it to dry a lot of dishes. It's not uncommon to find 3 of them lying around our kitchen!
