I am wondering who is in the Chicken Processing (Butchering) business this year as Lance in Virden (R-Farm) won't be doing them this year. This will leave a lot of people asking this question, so all of you out there that process (butcher) chickens please let us know you are doing it so we can make plans. There is a real need out there for a processing facility. Thanks!

I would think that any of the Hutterite Colonies that raise birds would do custom processing.

Yes definitely need this info as well as I had planned on getting 100 chicks in June. Need info on someone close to Brandon.  
 
Anyone know if RFarms is going to be doing it again? They always did a great job for us

I think Diana is taking it over again. Lance did not move any of the equipment, it is still on her property.

The colonies may not necessarily do custom orders, as they would have biosecurity measures in place. Those measures may prevent poultry from other farms from entering the colony.

Someone will be taking over and she will be helping in the chicken processing business again. If you need contact info message me privately

I checked with a local Colony near Kola, and they won't do anyone else's chickens due to Biosecurity reasons.

RFarms is not processing chickens this year. Let's hope someone takes over in the facility he vacated.

There's also a poultry processor in Brookdale. I think it's just called Westman Processors. The farmer we buy chickens from use them.
