from the buzz post today "a tie-in of Pacific Avenue to 1st street including a left-turn lane onto 1st"  
Is this an error or are you really going to be able to turn left across the traffic at the base of the bridge when your vision of oncoming traffic is restricted due to the curvature of the bridge.

As far as I have heard you should be able to have access onto Pacific from 1st when coming North or South Bound. As well as from Pacific onto 1st for South Bound only. North bound from Pacific onto first will not be an option.

your reply but that is not what the buzz post says, I see from the related image that there is actually a median that would preclude what the release says unless they are going to remove the barrier.  
I can see going back to the old way southbound off 1st onto Pacific and a right turn out of Pacific onto 1st southbound, which would save the rigmarole of going to Princess and cutting back across Rosser to get to Pacific.

I think its an error. You wont turn left (North) on to 1st off of Pacific. I feel and have heard that the line should have read a Left hand turn from 1st street onto Pacific Ave. Not Left from Pacific to 1st Street.  
 
As Mario said. From Pacific you can turn Right (South on to First Street.  
Both South and North Bound Traffic can turn onto Pacific.  
There will be no North Bound Access from Pacific. Need to go up to lights at Rosser to go North Bound.  
 
Even if it is Correct then perfect. It will be same way it used to be. You can safely cross two lanes of traffic and turn even with way bridge is set up now. If you can't see cars at the top of the bridge you will have time to make the turn.

Was hoping they would leave it closed. I would rather they had removed the stop sign at 2nd and Pacific, then install a 3-way stop at 2nd and Rosser.

I'm not sure why they are worried about reconnecting Pacific.  
 
In my mind, the MUCH cheaper option is to change Rosser and Princess to being two-way streets from 1st Street to 6th Street. If Rosser becomes two-way for those 6 blocks, it gives people multiple streets to turn down to Pacific.  
 
Did I mention MUCH cheaper?

IMO it’s about time! I miss the old way it was! Now have to get a bridge on 8th and we’ll be golden again
