Natural grey or fashion grey?

Natural grey or fashion grey hair? Processes are very different.
If you are talking about artificial grey or white hair, I recommend doing it yourself. But it takes a long time.
My daughter (15 yrs old) has white hair now. We started the day after school ended last year. So about 3 months to get to white while actually having healthy hair.
Make sure to condition hair properly before and after and between. Once you fry your hair it is game over.
Recommend using coconut oil on your hair before bleaching. Warm coconut oil apply to hair with hair dye brush. Comb through so hair is nicely saturated. Leave for about 20 minutes. Do not rinse out.
Apply hair lightened as per instructions. Keep away from roots until last 20 minutes of processing time. Max time is 50 minutes, but that is super hard on hair. We only did 20-30 minutes at a time. 30 minutes when not doing roots. 20 minutes as an allover colouring.
Never do more than 2x a week. Only 1x or less as hair gets more processed. Never bleach clean hair. Recommend not washing hair for a few days and definitely coconut oil at least 20 minutes before. (Overnight is better, but not always doable.)
Get a good hair masque. Leave it in overnight for best results. Do not need to use it every day. Get a good moisturizing light hair oil. Tresseme has a biologic natural hair oil that is non-flammable if that matters. My daughter is taking welding so that really matters in our world.
Need purple shampoo. It combats the yellow of hairs' natural colour.
When hair is pretty much white then you can successfully dye it grey. If your hair is yellowish you want a purple based grey. If it is orangish you want a blue based grey.
Recommend getting your supplies from Sally's Beauty Supplies in the Coral Centre. Recommend doing it yourself because it is a long transition period. It is not cheap. My daughter has spent over $250 in products over the last 3 months. But that is for all the hair stuff, not just bleaching agents.
Cannot stress enough about taking your time and nourishing your hair lots between dye sessions. And do not cut your split ends until you get to the desired lightness. Otherwise you will be trimming it way too often. (Coconut oil before bleaching will help minimize damage.)
I have i:ncluded a close up of my daughter's hair to show how light she has gone. Not full face to protect her privacy. (She is dark blond/light brown naturally)
