do they really work or do things go crashing to the floor ?

We use them on the back of our doors to hang hoodies, jackets, house coats, etc. We’ve had no problems with them but we’re not using them for anything too heavy though.

Same as the other poster, we haven't had issues but I also haven't tested the weight limits they come with. I had a renter using them and he left them up. It took a bit of effort to get them down.

Just make sure the hooks are correct for the weight and use acetone or rubbing alcohol to clean the surface before using. Allow an hour at least before putting any weight on them.

For most part they do good and if you stay within their weight limits ive never had anything fall down. However whem removing i did have a few that removed a few layers of paint behind them so had to patch and repaint afterwards.

get the pointier ones, and don't accidentally pull down, like if you're using them for jackets or coats.

We hung up several different things in our place with them... last week a picture frame above the bed cane crashing down at 3am, scared the crap out of us! Luckily it’s light as a feather, and the two HD command hooks that were overpowered were not able to hold on.... and I agree, prep is important. We clean every spot that it’s taped to beforehand, but it’s no nail or screw! Lol
