I am looking to have an up-do of sorts or my hair curled on April 20th. Can anyone help me? My chatters appointment is cancelled.

Your appointment is cancelled for a reason. All non-essential business is shut down until April 28th, and almost certainly longer after that.  
It would be very irresponsible for someone you don’t live with to be doing your hair, and whatever event you were doing your hair for should be cancelled as well.

I’m getting married in my back yard. Sorry not sorry.

It may not be perfect, but why not just do your hair yourself?  
 
I get it, its your wedding day, you should be pampered, but not while this is all going on.

As long as there are fewer than 10 of you, it is still legal and fines will not be enforced. While I'm sure everyone wishes you the best in your marriage, many people are going to find it very tone-deaf to the challenges the health care system is facing right now to go ahead with a nonessential gathering.  
 
Whenever your ceremony does take place, I wish you the best in your marriage.

Please be careful.. I agree with the above poster. Dont risk your life on anything or anyone. Hoepfully there are less than 10 people are attending or else you can have authorities called on.

There will be 7 people in my yard for the ceremony. Which is still ok! 3 of those people live in our home. Our wedding was cancelled but I was pretty set on the date so we got someone to come to us!

Has the hairdresser been in contact with anyone who may even remotely been in contact with any who could have the virus or travelled? How would you know? How would they know the same about you? Are you prepared to be in contact with them and expose your guests to that risk? Your fiancé? Grandparents? I agree with the previous comment, irresponsible...

You know, a hairdresser can be overrated for wedding updos. I had to redo mine just before the ceremony because it was done differently than the practice one was done...and by the same hairdresser. It was fantastic for the first time & horrible (almost completely different) the day of. Was it frustrating? You bet! I cried and was so very angry with the situation. I wondered if I could fix it in time, but I was able to get it fixed myself, fortunately and just in time, & in spite of all of the hairspray & pins. Nobody knew any different.  
 
Do you normally do your own hair? Could you find instructions for your chosen updo online? YouTube has some awesome and easy tutorials for even the most complicated looking updos. You still have a few days to practice...or perhaps someone within your home can do it or help you? It is worth exploring.  
 
Weddings are somehow stressful. All the stress caused by this virus has got to make things worse. I am sorry that this has changed your plans.  
 
Considering the hateful comments of some posters above, I would like to give you something more constructive about those attending (or if you wanted more guests attending), I know some folks who did online weddings. It is certainly unique. Possibly guests could attend that way?  
 
I imagined if I was to get married at this time, I would still get married now, but have a big celebration later. I have attended a wedding celebration like this, and it was wonderful! It would still certainly be worth considering in this time.

I'm not a hairdresser - however - I will give you a male perspective on this important day. Love is Blind - whether you show up at the altar with a beautiful hairdo and dress, or in hair curlers and a bath robe, in your future husbands eyes you will still be the most beautiful woman he has ever laid eyes on. Do the best with your hair, but most importantly remember, this is your day so have fun, given the restrictions you are facing with the current situation.
