Where in Brandon has a rink that does not have a lot of people where a fat old lady can try to stand up on skates maybe take a few steps before I croak .

None of the outdoor rinks are open yet but once they do they’re usually empty or very quiet during the day since the kids are in school. Only other place to go is the Sportsplex during their public skating times. Quite often they have it during the day so those times are fairly quiet as well since kids are in school.

Souris rink is open during the week with not much going on from 9-3. Has public skating times posted in rink calendar.

Good for you for giving it a try. Best of luck!

I too recommend the outdoor rinks during the day once they do open. But be sure to pick one with boards around it just incase you can't stop too well.
