The clothes dryer lint trap on the inside of dryer has a hole in it is there patch kits to fix it or do you have to replace whole screen ?

Got a package home hardware fixed couple holes in south window sticks really good. Could try it in the dryer screen. You could put it on both sides to make it stronger.  
You cut it to size thinks it comes in maybe 3x5 inches .

Check in with the name brand repair depo, they may have a used filter that would fit.

Inside the dryer door on ours. Amazon etc will have replacement likely as cheap as repair kit

Not worth messing around with, partselect.ca. Usually not expensive

Somewhat related to the topic -  
Even though I clean the dryer lint collector every load, I used to have to clean the lint out of the outside vent screen every month or two.  
About two years ago (at HH), I saw an extra lint trap that you install on the exhaust pipe inside your home. It’s just a plastic box with a clear plastic door, and a removable lint screen inside the box.  
It works wonderfully! I clean it out every few loads, especially if I’m drying towels or fuzzy blankets.  
I haven’t had to clean the outside vent since I installed it.

I belive you're also supposed to get dryer opened up and cleaned out every year or two...
