I'm asking for recommendations as I need to buy another men's electric razor. I'm wanting something simple - cord that plugs into the razor and the other end plugs into a household outlet - unplug the cord attached to the razor and shave then plug the cord back into the razor and let it recharge. Not interested in shaving in the shower.  
 
I currently have a Braun Series 6 and even from day 1 it was maybe 2 out of 10 and that's being generous - does a terrible job on chin and neck.  
 
Years ago I owned a Remington and later a Braun and they were both great except the foil would get a hole in it after about 8 months and it was easy to replace the foil and it was widely available - eventually the foil was no longer available so razor was useless.  
 
Someone suggested I ask for advice at Tommy Gunn but they had no suggestions or advice.

I got my dad a Manscaped Handyman and he loves it.

I have the 4-in-1 Braun (with detail head, nose trim, etc.) and it is miles better than the foil razors. I also have to use a manual razor after any shave regardless so would recommend just getting a solid brand like Gilette and using that as well. Happy bearding!

I’m a hca and use several different ones, I know that Philips are horrible especially the light blue ones, also there’s a yellow one that’s horrible. I find the foil multi head ones get dull super quick and end up pulling more than trimming. Better to get the ones with the two razors. But in all honesty a good old manual does the best job

I’ve been using Braun for over 20 years with zero issues, I’m on my second razor and I get about a years worth of use before having to replace the shave head. They are expensive but worth every dollar. You must have very corse facial hair if you’re breaking through the foil.
