I am about to pick up a brand new old snowblower - age unknown works like the dickens so I am told.  
 
Facts I do know- a Single stage 7 hp craftman. 22 inch swath that can throw the snow far! Electric start.  
 
I need to pump up the tires change oil yada yada yada!  
 
First time snowblower user here- all sites say these single stage units work okay on pavement -but not well on gravel etc. Do I need to worry about going to low when I am making a trail to the back lane re rock throwing etc?  
 
Low speed vs high speed -it looks like I have only those two choices??  
 
Anyways check the pics I uploaded on this critter advise info re age etc- . Maybe a site on how to avoid getting in trouble with the people next door??
