I love the Special Olympics...yeah, I know, all the focus is on Vancouver 2010, and as far as Canadians are concerned, Hockey gold is THE pinnacle...hey, I'm right there, can't wait...but, I would like to hear what Brandon has to say in a personal way, what's your View and experience with Special Olympics...the reason this comes up for me...at least partially, is because someone said to me the other day...arguing on the Internet is like the special Olympics, even if you win, you're still a retard...now, that was directed at me, and I had a good laugh at my expense, but it got me thinking about the holier than thous that think about only what they perceive to be relevant in the eyes of Canadians...you see, I grew up watching people with disabilities(mental and physical)  
I rode the school bus and got in fights with people that mistreated people with so called disabilities...aaand I got beat up for it, but, I've never stood for ignorance...just wondered what our online community thought on the matter...and don't worry, if you were a dick at one time, anyone can change...I've seen it happen.
