finding a good vacation spot?

me and my husband have been needing to get away for a few days, i was thinking about going to clear lake or alberta.
does anybody know of any good relaxing places to go that wont cost too much?
we arent needing anything incredibily fancy (spas, 5 star hotels, ect ect)
any help?
