common Sense

Like a lot of folks in Manitoba and Canada, my Son has a job, which he is paid for. He pays all is taxes to the government, and the government distributes his taxes as they see fit. In order to get his paycheque, he is required to pass a random urine test, with which I have no problem. What I do have a problem with is, with the distribution of our taxes to people, who don’t have to pass a urine test. Should it not be mandatory to pass a urine test to get a Social Security Cheque? My Son, (and others) had to pass one to earn it for them.
Please understand I have no problem with helping people get back on their feet. I do, on the other hand, have a problem with helping someone sit on his or her butt, take drugs and regularly get stoned out of their minds. Could you imagine how much money the country would save if people had to pass a urine test to get a Public Assistance Cheque?
If you don’t think that your country should come before yourself,
you can better serve your country by livin’ someplace else.
