How hard is it to learn quilting? Does anyone know of any classes being offered? I have a bunch of concert shirts that I would like to have made into a quilt. Is there somebody who offers these services? Thanks!

I think central community center might have a quilting club. I remember something like that happening when playing hockey there one time. Might be worth a look. Or you could ask at the fabric shop on rosser, they might have a direction to point you in. Sorry thats all i got

No Official classes

In Brandon, BUT...
I am the secretary of a quilters group (Peace by Piece)that meets twice a month (Sept.-May). Quilters of all levels welcome. We don't give classes per se, but are always full of helpful hints and encouragement. Feel free to PM me!

In the meantime, I recommend how to videos on Youtube.

Quilting Classes in Brandon

Check with Mama Bears Quilt Shoppe. I think their number in Brandon is 725-5227. They are located at 2-702-12th St. I signed up for a class in February & it was great. I'm addicted to quilting now.
