Is everywhere. The valley was very hazy late this morning and over the noon hour but i do not know where it was coming from.

Seems smart burning right now with the warning for 110km winds. But hey what's common sense

will be out before the wind gets that high plus fields have a cultivated fire break around them. plus the farmers are supposed to keep an eye on the fire.

Well there used to be common sense involved on burning stubble, now farmers sit and wait until the government gives the ok for farmers to burn, I've seen years where there are good days for burning but it is not allowed, then a day comes along where there are cloudy skies, and high humidity, and they say it's time to burn.

I don’t think it’s farmers....probably the smoke from Saskatchewan and Alberta. I’m NW of Brandon and there’s a lot of smoke here too

Maybe this has something to do with it. Sounds like quite a few fires and with the strong winds going on it won’t take much to blow this way.

More likely it is the fires burning in Langruth, Mb

I agree, most likely SK & AB fires. Langruth was downwind yesterday, so it was not likely to be smoke from there. It certainly was widespread.
