Natural Gas BBQ

Ok we just bought a natural gas barbeque and got a quote to get it hooked up. Has anyone done this before? Our quote seemed EXTREMELY high, just wondering what a reasonable cost is to do this. I understand that it depends on alot of things, but I'm looking for a ballpark figure.
