ATV riding around Brandon

Hello....we are new to ATV-ing and are wondering about ATV/quad trails around Brandon. I'm sure most area farmers and land owners may not be particularly thrilled with people exploring their land, so I'd like to know where quads are acceptable to ride and have fun within a short drive from Brandon.
Any info is appreciated!!!
