So didn't plan ahead... and no booking for this weekend.  
 
Won't be able to leave till 530 tomorrow so i dont know if un-reservable campsites would be my best option.  
 
Looking for within an hour from brandon or so.  
 
hiking trails similar to those at Adam/william lake.  
 
Suggestions!?

Tough to find a spot for a long weekend on short notice. The provincial parks are pretty much booked solid, so your best bet it to try a private campground/RV park, but those usually don't have hiking trails. If you're tenting you can probably get into overflow or a small unserviced place like Max Lake in the Turtle Mountains. If you're pulling a big camper you might be out of luck. Try Lake Metigoshe on the US side. Just booked a site for 3 nights. They had about 20 or so left. $17 a night. Lots of hiking trails, beach and stuff to do. Have a good one!
