Does anyone know how to use air miles for westjet flights? I can't seem to find any info on it.

Go to airlmiles website, scroll down and click travel. Go to the flights tab and search your flight. It will prob ask for your air miles number. Hopefully you registered your card on their website. If not, register and follow the steps I mentioned. The search results are based on what is available.  
 
Air miles carries Westjet and air Canada flights. Peak times costs your more miles. Air Canada flights are always more miles vs wesjet

Just log onto the airmiles website and start searching. Sometimes its easier to search on WestJet first so you can see what the flight possibilities are...then go back to airmiles. You generally have to book a bit in advance, or keep going back and searching as they do add more flights sometimes.

I can only find Westjet flights from Brandon to Vancouver from the Air miles website one way. Once I select roundtrip, it can't find any flights.

If no flights come up then they have all gone. The earlier you can book, the better. I booked last August for my flights this May. Alternatively try from Winnipeg or Regina but depending on your dates you may still be out of luck.

If you are not finding flights they either don't fly that day, or are sold out. You can try changing your date, fly from Wpg or Regina, or keep checking back (but doubt extra flights from Brandon would be added). If using airmiles we book very far in advance or be prepared to change our date, city of departure etc. If you fly from Regina is usually takes a lot less airmiles as you are a province closer.

It seems I can book a one way Westjet flight from Brandon to Vancouver and then book another one way from Vancouver to Brandon using my Air miles.  
Wonder if there is any setback or any difference than booking a roundtrip?

Roundtrip are less air miles then booking one way. Maybe you don't have enough miles to fly for a roundtrip?

If that were the case, it would tell you how many miles you needed.  
I found trying to use my airmiles very frustrating. Wanted to go to Kelowna, but always no flights. I think the number of air miles flights out of Brandon is very limited and as others have said, you have to book way in advance

Check on the actual WestJet site to see if any flights that way for the days you are looking for.

Intersting. Maybe Getty is right. I know there are roundtrip Westjet flights between Brandon and Vancouver everyday. If it allows me to book a one way using Airmiles from Westjet, why not the roundtrip?  
I find the Airmiles website is not user friendly.

We just booked our round trip flights to Toronto Friday night and there was a glitch. We were using Firefox as a web browser. When talking to the customer service department they suggested using internet explorer as that is what they recommend. No glitch with internet explorer and we were able to book. Just a suggestion. The flights available using airmiles is a small portion of flights compared to what you will find on the westjet website.
