Where to go in August with two little ones.

Hi,

We want to go away for a few days in August. Where to go? We are not picky but have two little ones (3 and 1). So about max. 4 hours drive from Brandon, campground or renting a cabin is both fine. Pool or beach would be nice but is not a must. Just for a few days. All advice is welcome.

Child's or blue lake in the duck mountains. Very nice camping, yurt and cabin rentals and nice beaches with beautiful clear water. Nice playgrounds right on the beach and free fire wood.

St. Malo has a great campground, nice beach and playground. Lots of places to go for walks, nice private sites also. Just south of Winnipeg.

Located by stonewall, so about 3 hrs, Campground and cabin rentals. Has 2 pools, 2 hot tubs, mini golf, bumper boats, stocked trout pond. There’s lots to do for the kids. They’re also a canteen and rec hall where they show movies We love it. It’s only about 20 min from Wpg , if it’s a crappy day and you want to do something in the city.
