Heading to Vegas haven’t been in a while looking for tips? 3 adults 2 kids age 9 4-5 nights. Best hotels with kids? Things to do?

When we took our kids to Vegas, we stayed at Circus Circus. It's quite a ways away from everything else, but we didn't find it to be an issue. We just got tickets for the bus and we were in the heart of the strip quickly. The kids loved the amusement park at Circus Circus! They honestly probably could have spent our entire trip there! There was also a McDonalds just outside the hotel, which was also a hit with the kids (although more expensive than your average McDonalds). Overall, that hotel is the most kid-friendly one we've stayed at.  
 
One thing I'd suggest avoiding - the old strip. Although the light show on the canopy is super cool, the environment isn't something I'd feel comfortable exposing my kids to at that age. Just my opinion though, I know everyone has differing opinions on what is age-appropriate.
