I found items not sold in canada other wise this loyal Canadian would shop at our site. Found items on the USA site and was willing to drive to Bottineau ND to pick up at the Walmart there. But their site wouldn’t accept my billing address because it’s Canadian. Anyone ever have success getting around this problem? Also any suggestions on where to stay in Minot that is comfy with nice breakfast?

Could it be that the item is restricted in Canada? Meaning our laws don’t allow for the purchase of it? For example: walkers for children are restricted in Canada but not the states. So you can buy them down there but won’t get it across the border.

Get it sent to Border Services. You provide their address and pick it up there, saving yourself some miles too as it’s only about 10-15 mins across the border.

Contact customer service over the phone or if they have online chat support can try that also. I've had this happen numerous times ordering items in the u.s. if you tell them your picking item up in the u.s they should be able to sort something out for you. Otherwise yes I highly recommend border services just north of dunseith. It's an easy process and reasonably priced. Just make sure to send them an email if it's your first time.

Yes that is what I was trying to do as well that or pick up direct from store. But before that when charging to credit card it asks for billing address and only allows USA state and zip code. Won’t accept Canadian address for billing. Thanks

I used to order all the time and have it delivered to Border Services.  
 
I do not recall ever having issues with address, although I cannot for the life of me remember now if I had to adjust. Maybe it is simply your credit card having a different level of security?  
 
I used their website and ordered just as you normally would , however using the delivery address as Dunseith. Maybe try calling their help line? They might have a trick something like using the numbers from your postal code when you buy gas. I wish I could be more help but as I live five minutes from the border now it is a heck of a lot easier for me to grab the US only products

But I will give them this - their US shipping is very good. It was packed very well, not overly packaged, but enough and safe.  
 
What I like especially was all the bottles I ordered were actually taped shut so they would not leak. One piece of tape, so it was not over done. You could tell someone with a brain was doing the shipping.  
 
My main purchases were the Suave shampoos and conditioners that were not available in Canada. I never had one issue with leakage or breakage. I used to buy a dozen bottles at a time. I'd also but "Scooby Snacks" - my family loves them - they were little dog treat shaped cinnamon crackers.

yes I called customer svc and that is what they said, looking for US credit card. Apparently too much fraud potential. I never signed up for that, worried it was not safe but I guess its been around for years now. Thanks,

UGH! A lot US shopping websites are like this!! Exactly the reason why I started to use PayPal. Usually works. OR see if you can find the item on Amazon.com for a similar price. Amazon will let you select a Canadian billing address and an American shipping address.

Thank you for the tip on PayPal. It looks like it works and they can’t discriminate against being Canadian. I just wanted to use Walmart because I really trust their refund policy if something doesn’t work out. Usually 90 days and not much hassle. Never dealt with amazon for refunds so was a bit worried. Extra bonus is hubby will take me for 48 hours to Minot. Haven’t been there since the great big flood so really looking forward to that!

What is it that you need off of Walmart.com that Amazon doesn't have? I've had nothing but success finding even the rarest of items on Amazon, and with prime, the shipping is extremely fast and free.

When I do shipping to the store I just put my billing address as Bottineau. Their zip code is 58318. Never has a problem. Hope that helps.
