We're looking for some suggestions on where to look for campsites around the area? (150 km radius) We have a camper so we would like a full service site, but at least electric service. We want to do some boating and pulling the kids on the tube etc and also fishing. Rivers is very low and you can't launch a boat anymore! Clear Lake can't take 2 stroke boats or seadoos. We hear Minnedosa is low (and green) as well - and no fishing either. Ditch lake and Thomas lake don’t have camping. (Or so we've been told.) Adam's Lake has a severe leach problem currently and the kids dislike leach attacks. Pelican might be an option - but we're looking for other suggestions. Anyone know about Sandy Lake?

Have you tried Oak Lake? We haven’t been there recently so it might be getting slimy though. It seems like most lakes have an issue right now. I’ve heard Pelican Lake is green. I don’t know anything about Sandy Lake except I know there’s a campground there.

There is a new man made lake in Reston, no fishing and no motor boats but there is reasonable camping and a kid's splash park there too....look under the RM of Pipestone site
