Were they purchased it an their experience driving it

Hey Adam, That was not mine. I don't have a handicap sticker/tag. There are now two white Teslas in Brandon and others in the area. I think the latest in town is a Model Y, not a Model 3 like mine.  
The cars can be ordered from Calgary.  
If the person that originally posted wants to contact at our email, feel free to do so. I think most Tesla owners are happy to share info. I know I do.

The Tesla price varies down from CAD$~82K down to CAD$49,999. The lowest price is eligible for the federal grant. Trim models vary as do the options. I have close to the top model (but NOT the Performance Model) - DM (Dual Motor) LR (500km battery in summer/330 km in winter) like all electrics, they loose about 1/3 range/charge in the winter. Not so much due to the heater as some think, but the heater is fantastic. A trip to Winnipeg and back costs about $6.50 for electricity in the summer.  
The mobile service is in Winnipeg and major service is in Calgary - not the most ideal. I have owned the car for about 15 months and have gone through a set of tires. I have put a LOT of Km on the car, ~50,000km. Most of those Km, the car drove itself. Really worth the extra $$$$. The pickup is amazing and the car is a lot of fun to drive around. and is very quiet - proving you don't need a noisy car. Unfortunately, I can't get the tires to squeal as the traction control is just amazing. The software updates keep coming and adding more functions as time goes by. It even reads speed limit signs as well as stop signs and signals (even in new construction). Another benefit is you can fill it every night without going to a gas station.  
 
Bottom line, I love the car but am not very impressed with Tesla service/communications. Having said that, I have only had one minor issue with the car. You might want to check out teslamotorclub.com

Wow, I didn't realize Calgary was the closest major repair shop, that's serious owner dedication there, I won't even consider a brand that would require me going to Winnipeg.  
 
Keith, you mentioned not having any major issues but do you know what the process for transporting a non functioning vehicle there is, does tesla provide 1 way transit or any support of any kind getting a vehicle to a service depot ?

with an ev having no engine but merely a drive system on each axle you would replace the drive unit rather than try to service same.  
In which case your local mechanic would be able to order in and do the replacement. Same with battery etc.  
I'm sure a mechanic somewhere will put me right.  
The biggest problem I foresee, is that for those of us who only ever purchase used vehicles, we will have to wait a long time for the secondary market to have a sufficient supply and then hope that the batteries that fit are still available. They seem to be hard to get even for a model a few years of age, according to a report on CBC news recently.  
As a further thought, once we are all using ev's, presumably the government will then have to tax hydro to make up for the lost tax on petrol/diesel fuel.

As far as I know, they send a vehicle to pick up the vehicle. Local (non-warranty) service can be had at 4 Way Motors in MacGregor and most of the car is not rocket science. but Musk does run SpaceX. The battery has an 8 year warranty. The road ranger can do a lot of the repairs and in some cases will come to your home. It is not as big of a deal compared to driving a GM product into Murrays for an oil change and them asking who makes the [GM] Volt? There are a lot of plusses to owning the Tesla and if I had it to do over I would purchase another M3 or if I could afford one, a model X. There are very few used ones and they maintain their value, but once in a while you can get a deal.  
 
I must warn you to never take one for a test drive. The odds are pretty high that you will never be happy with your ICE after doing so. My only regret is that I never bought stock in the company 4 years ago. or even a year ago. BTW, my M3 was delivered to my door by Tesla.

For having paid $60,000+ for a car I would hope they would deliver it and maybe even have a guy with white gloves roll out a red carpet for you to walk out to it on. Not knocking Tesla owners in anyway but having a car that only goes a few (500?) kms on a charge isn't for everyone but I am sure it fits a lot of peoples needs. I've also taken one for a test drive and it did not make me want one. I am sure someday with all the advances in tech they will only get better. I don't know but I have seen definitely a few used, Nott as previously mention usually always has one. Considering they are very rare to see out in the wild its no wonder there aren't many for sale however I suspect price and other factors turn most people away.
