Suffice it to say: my suggestion was/is about more than flashing lights. Though those lights (and accompanying readout) would be handy, I suggested speed cameras. The same ones are deployed in Winnipeg to govern speed in school zones. Blow the limit, get a ticket in the mail.  
 
My solution to cover all the lawbreakers in this ridiculous thread.

Ridiculous post you say? A 30 ton vehicle passing you and your family at 120km/hr plus? You can pound salt...  
 
Here's your sign

Really, this thread is something else. The OP keeps complaining that people aren't reading his post, but then keeps misunderstanding everyone else's. And then saying 'here's your sign'. Knucklehead never said semis doing 120+ was ok. He was just suggesting what he thinks you should do when they are. Simon never said install flashing lights. He said install speed cameras which generate tickets. It may not slow down the speeder today, but drivers caught will eventually learn and change their behaviour.  
 
Until you start reading everyone else's posts as carefully as you want them to read yours (which they are, by the way), please do us a favour and keep your signs. Insulting people is not debating them. It's just making you look bad.

What the heck does "Here's your sign" mean?

It's a reference to a comedian named Bill Engvall. He does a bit where people who ask obvious questions should get a sign saying they are dumbasses.  
 
Ie. I locked my keys in my car. I was using a coat hanger to try and jimmy open the lock. A passer by asked if I locked myself out of my vehicle. I said "no, I'm hanging it up to dry". Here's your sign!  
 
Or something of the like. It's been a long time since I've heard it referenced.

It's a ridiculous post because it never happened. Your making up a story to get some attention. I don't think you and your family were riding on your motorcycle.  
 
If you had ever driven a semi you would know how ridiculous the claimed speeds actually are.
