The last time I drove this section of hwy #10 (probably a year ago) it was in very rough shape - since then I've avoided that section by driving through Russell and Roblin to head north.  
 
The hwy dept will tell me whether the road is icy or snow packed or bare but I'd like to read reports from people that have recently driven on that section of hwy #10. Has it been repaved or is it still in rough shape?

Everything has been fixed. Was just that way at Christmas.

I drove to Swan River that way a couple of weeks before Xmas. No idea if it has been repaved, but I didn't notice anything wrong with it (other than it was when we had a snowfall and the section from Dauphin to Ethelbert was icy & snow packed).  
I usually take the Russell/Roblin route as well just because I like it better.

I tend to go the Russell / Route too because most of Highway 83 is resurfaced and is in better shape then Highway 10 from the Park to Swan River. On a related note, Highway 10 from Swan River to The Pas is in a lot better shape now then Highway 24 and even Highway 2 from Highway 10 to Souris!

Manitoba hwy. Rough. Just came back, travelling in a smaller car

They've been fixed up, good condition now. Much better than they were last year, nothing else of note.

Heading north soon - reports sound ok for that section so maybe I'll take #10 all the way.
