I'm wondering how much a ticket would cost from the Philippines to Canada one way, and also round trip. Thanks.  

How would I go about buying a ticket for him to come to Canada?  

When we wanted a family member to come here from Colombia, we couldn't use Air Canada - they would only sell us round-trip tickets. So we could either pay round-trip price (even though she'd only use one of the two flights) or find another method. However there were no Colombian airlines flying to Canada, so we had no options.  
 
You should check out Phillipino airline companies - that would be your best bet. If none of them fly to Canada or have connections to a Canadian airline... you might have to pony up extra cash like we did. Good luck.

the price is around 1300 round trip, travel in may. make sure he has a visa for canada. you can book at ant travel agency and send him by email the ticket
