starting Monday the intersection above will be closed. The rocks are leaving,yahoo. They will also be paving from 6th street to 10th street on Aberdeen.They ask everyone to keep their pets away as oil will be laid. Parents will need to ensure their children stay away from this area for safety reasons.This road closure will be in effect until Sept 9th, so school children will have to learn a safe route to take to school.Please use different routes and let this work get done.

I'm so glad to see this spot is getting addressed. It never was smooth, and the curbs just got in the way.

Wished they'd put sidewalks around that area. Especially if they are building a school in that area

great the rocks are gone I never knew the purpose of it and should be better to clear the snow

I hope they level it out, too. I have winter tires and often have trouble getting traction when heading east through this intersection.
