Just wondering if anyone had booked flights online through westjet and not picked their seats at time or purchase? I am looking to book my seats now for my up coming flight but don't know where to find this option

Have never booked seats when purchasing. Always have got an email 24 hours before departure and that's when I've picked my seat.

Okay.. there is two of us flying do you typically have trouble picking seats where you can sit together? That is our biggest concern

Never done it but I thought you could if you paid extra. There should be a spot on the Web site I just can't remember where as it been a while.

Under the tab "My Trips" you will find a link under the "add to trip" column that allows you to select your seats.

I refuse to pay extra for this. We just check in online 24 in advance and get them then. Only once has our family of 4 not been placed together, and once we check in at the airport they realized it and reassigned us to be together

If you call Westjet customer service to book your flights, it will be same price and they can pick your seats for you.
