I know there is a shop in Calgary called Margo Supplies, they are the best shop for any animal control items

Thanks for the suggestions as well as the chuckle. I will check with the places that sell ammunition and see if any of them can help me out. I have the means for the final solution, but was hoping that since my problem likes gophers, moles, and mice, it would be nice to just scare it off so that cats don't become snacks.

Wolverine Supplies in Virden sells bear bangers. They should do the trick for you. They had some in stock last time I was there, so if you can't find them on their website, call them.

Guess I shouldn't of called them bird bangers, they are called cracker shells which is just about as confusing.
