I was wondering if its possible for a bear to live on the hills i went for a walk today and took some pics of what i think are bear tracks. I'd like to meeet people interested on bird watching and nature stuff...

I found bear scat in the backyard a few years ago. Surprised me. Yes, we live in the Brandon Hills.

Might not be living but could be passing by. I came across two piles of bear scatt last year in the middle of the gravel road behind my house. I live 4 miles east of Brandon just off Veterans Way. Not a good feeling while walking the dogs at 6am in the dark. About the same time friends of mine came across a younger pair of bears while quadding in the forest at Shilo.

Bears can live in Brandon Hills, just as they live in Spruce Woods.

I have had the odd one in my yard a few times in the past few years (north of Shilo)

Bears will live or be anywhere there is food for them.
