How To Prepare For A Mammogram

The picture on the side is a little haha......I have been dodging the bullet for the last 5 yrs. The doctor is getting a wee tad impatient with my stubborn out look on this topic.
The thought of this test scares the bejesus out of me. Why can't they just do a MRI , why must they use vise grips to do this testing?
