What I used to live in, for shoes, during the is now my worst nightmare. Flip flops and wet surfaces do not mix, so dangerous!  
A couple months ago my mother was walking down her deck stairs when she hit a wet spot and went flying, resulting in brutal injuries.  
I had a similar flip flop experience this weekend resulting in a split toe and a tailbone injury. I can still hear my mother blurting out obcenities about how she warned me about flip flops. Should alway listen to your mother, right? LOL!  
Lesson leaned the hard way.
