January 21st 1985: Nancy Eaton is discovered dead.

She was the Great, Great, Granddaughter of department store tycoon Timothy Eaton, and was found dead at the age of 23 in her Farnham Street apartment in the Yonge-St. Clair area of Toronto, Canada. She was born in Canada on May 28th 1961.
A victim of multiple stab wounds it was determined that she had been murdered by a childhood friend, Mr. Andrew Leyshon-Hughes who was found ‘not guilty’ by reason of insanity
He was placed at the Royal Ottawa Hospital, as a psychiatric patient, but by 2002 he had been granted several privileges, including coming, and going as he pleased. At a Psychiatric hearing by the Ontario Review Board at that time he had requested additional privilages be granted to him.
A movie was made of her life, "The Death and Life of Nancy Eaton" (2003), based on the book, "A Question of Guilt" by William Scoular.
Nancy Alice Edward Eaton is buried at Mount Pleasant Cemetery, Toronto, Ontario.
