I'm sure this has been done, but i LOVE thinking about buildings in Brandon that used to be other businesses.. for example, Tokyo Zone used to be a Booster Juice!!! I invite you to join in on this nostalgia and even post some pictures if you have them!

Blu restaurant used to be Moxies. Mmmmmm Moxies.

Oh right! before gullivers it was a moxies!!

Before Moxies it was a Perkins I believe.

Wok Box used to be a "Juniors" and a "Country Style Donuts"........ MMMMMMM

Sushi hut used to be Moms Steak house~!

Samson Engineering used to be The Venice House - loved getting to sit at one of the tables "in a barrel"

Used to be Arby's!!! Now I am craving curly fries!

Anyone remember what the Double Decker was before. I recall it being a Taco place or something but can't think of the name.

Used to be a Pizza Place as well as a Taco Time. Before that , it was a shoe store.

and the shoppers mall used to be soooo different.. do you remember topogeegos

Oh I remember that place! Husband would take the kids there, but he had just as muchmore fun as they did!

Sanfrancisco in the mall! I used to love that place when i was little and all their little statues and trinkets.  
 
Also anyone else remember Bonanza's and their ice cream bar!!

Before Bonanza it was Ponderosa. My parents and I would go on a Saturday night and then go to the mall. They used to have old cars on display occasionally. Dad would look at the cars, Mom would go where ever and I would go to Chez Cloth buy fabric and pattern and have something new to wear to school on Monday.  
 
I miss the fabric stores. Fiesta Fabrics on 10th, changed to ceramic place and then a doggy place.  
 
Fanny's on Pacific now Grand Valley Vet.

Penningtons and KFC was consumers distributing.

Used to be the old Elks Hall

Where Town Center Dental and Total Eye Care(now FYidoctors) in the Town Center downtown use to be The BAY.

1 st & McTavish used to be Royal Bank. Before that it was my aunt's house. Always had Christmas dinner there.

Where Giant Tiger and McDonalds now are on Victoria Avenue west was at one time a Ford dealership, cant remember the name though.  
 
Where Tim Horton's is in the Canadian Tire parking lot use to be where Canadian Tire was before they moved across the parking lot.  
 
Where The Chili Chutney currently is on 34th Street was at one time Boston Pizza.  
 
Where the library is downtown use to be the Eaton`s store.  
 
At the corner of 6th and Princess there was a dodge/Chrysler dealership called Binkley Motors then it changed to Radics.  
 
On the north hill where Vision Electronics and Extreme Electronics use to be was once a dance hall, but I cant remember the name.  
 
On the corner of 17th Street and College there was a decorating/wallpaper store called Rooms Alive. Not sure what's in the building now though.  
 
Im sure I will think of some more.

This building used to be a shoe store, Knowlton's I believe. It had a big plastic giraffe. Loved looking at that giraffe!

The Ford dealership was Kelleher's  
 
Vision's and Extreme was Harry's Ukranian Kitchen  
 
There's a custom counter place where Rooms Alive was. They also had a location at 25th & Vic

No the it wasn't Kelleher Ford. Kelleher Ford use to be on the north hill just down the road from there current location between Princess Auto and Brandt tractor are today. They make construction/oilfield office shacks in the old Kelleher building. The one on Victoria was called Canada or Canadian something.

Where Guild insurance is on Victoria avenue use to be an RCMP detachment.  
 
Where the liquor Mart is at the corner of 10th street and Victoria is use to be an Either an Esso or Petro Canads gas station.  
 
Where the A.R Mcdirmid Civil Service building downtown is across from the old fire hall use to be a Co-op grocery store, then the public library and then the covergus building.  
 
Where Napa auto parts is on queens avenue use to be a farm dealership called Brandon Implements, then the name changed to Mazer Implements which is today known as Mazer group.
