Canadian Motors and they had a tempo gas bar. I remember collecting nhl hockey pucks every time my Dad would fill up there. Not sure if it was a tempo though a little foggy being only 3 at the time.

Before it was Wheelie's, the roller rink was Saints Roller Rink. It was Saints when it was newly built in the 70's.

and before Encounters it was "Mr. B's" but I think it was originally when first built called "Mr. B's Presents".

The old Bank of Montreal on the corner of 10th & Rosser was the bank until the very-early 80's then before it became the harp studio it was Warehouse One  
jeans and then for awhile was publisher of NOW Brandon newspaper an Architectural Landscape Designer and a computer guy.

Unless I missed it was the North Hill Inn. If I'm not mistaken it was originally the North Hill Inn, then Spats, then Grapes, and now the North Hill Inn again. And I think it was also something else along the way?

Starks Sporting goods on 100 block of 10th street and Mitchells Sporting Goods on 100 block of 9th street.  
 
Carlton café on 100 block of 10th street.  
 
The Legion used to be on 8th street about 100 feet north of the corner of 8th and Rosser across from the Oak theatre.  
 
The Army and Navy clothing store was on the corner of 8th and Rosser where CIBC is now and the Imperial Apartments were above the Army and Navy.  
 
As a Bdn Sun paper boy I used to pay my bill on Saturday mornings when the Sun was on 10th and go next door for one of the best hamburgers in town at Tony’s Shamrock Lunch which was across from the City Centre hotel.  
 
Dennisons Garage was on the north side of Rosser between 11th and 12th inside the garage Mr. Dennison had an old Rolls Royce car which you only saw in the movies…wonder where it ever went?

The link was first presented by stingray129, I went and tried to present it, and messed it up completely, Adam came to the rescue and fixed it up, so I'm just the middleman. Glad that people enjoyed it, did notice a cousin of mine in the video near the end of it.

I don't think this one has been mentioned - there was a German restaurant on Rosser Avenue, upstairs on the south side of the street, 800 or 900 block; I can remember the stairs being very steep. Good food, but can't remember the name of the restaurant, think maybe it started with a "W" but not sure. Probably be in the late 70's, early 80's.

There was a sub shop on Rosser Ave, thinking maybe the 1200 or 1300 block and if I remember right is was George's. I remember going there and then walking up the street and picking up a donut at Dutch Mill.

Before Hakim optical it used to be Arby's and before that used to be Charlie Coyote's. Anyone remember that?

That sub shop was in the building I mentioned earlier, Hambly Hatcheries was there in the 50s and early 60s.

I'm so old I can remember Buckmire's Corner Store at 10th & Louise Ave. I can also remember the Texaco gas station at 26th & Victoria. I think the owner's name was Phil. My brother and myself would ride our bike there and get STP stickers from him. Also, right beside the Texaco station was one of Brandon's first sub sandwich shop. This would be on the ground floor of the appartment block in the 2500Blk Vic. I can also remember the car wash at 26th & Vic. You had to have to have a chain hooked up the the undercarriage of your car and then got pulled through the car wash. A friend of mine was the owner's son and he lost a leg when it got caught in the chain.  
How about Dominion Tire in the 200Blk of 10th Street where the Credit Union is now. Any body remember the old guys name. I think it was Tony something.  
 
How about the 100Blk 8th Street. The bus mall used to be there. All the buses would park on the hill and there were benches all along the side if the old Met store. There was a record shop there in a small stand alone building where you could buy and sell used LP records.  
 
Wow, I'm old too. Some might have to explain to the young folk what a LP record was.

What was the name of the "fancy" restaurant on Rosser downtown? We went there few times when I was younger for special occasions It was on north side of Rosser...name is on tip of my tongue but can't recall.

- name escapes me but before it was trendy there was a healthy-ish sandwich place on Richmond in the mall that has Blue Hills bakery (pitas? Wraps?)

Remember when the Towne Center was THE mall to shop at? Was full of great stores? We lived in the country and it was so exciting when friends started getting their drivers license so could sho there without having to wait for parents to bring us in...!

I was beginning to think I was crazy because nobody remembered a place there besides me. It wasn't even that long ago, I'm guessing late 90s. I couldn't remember the name but I remember the food was delicious.

Tire and Radio on 10th St. Tony Burneski had everything in that shop. I also bought many LPs, posters, black lights and incense from the Autum Stone on 8th St.

Prior to Charlie Coyote's and the Swiss Coffee House and Bearpit Lounge before that.

How many remember the golf course that was by 17th st east in the area from about ACC to Behlen Industries.  
The road curved around the corner at 17 e & Victoria. You didn't have to go down the hill by the substation.  
 
On the west side of 18th across from the Keystone Centre there was an open field. The First Nations people use to set up their Teepee's there during Summer Fair week. Which was the first week in July at that time. That would be probably on the late 40'S.

There used to be a Voyageur restaurant up on the Number 1 Hwy. I can't remember exactly but know it was on the north side.

It was located where Maxim Truck and Trailer is located today. There was also a Esso gas station in the building.

I've seen a picture but I don't remember the actual course. Does anyone know when it closed?

The corner of 18th and Richmond where Shoppers drug mart is now,there was a Gulf Oil storage or wholesale distribution centre.I think it was gulf oil,but cant be sure,This was in the early 70's.does anyone remember what it was?

Where Marinos is now there was an auto repair shop that burnt down and took part of the little strip mall with it. And the other is just north of Kal tire there was a driving range and a mini golf Can't remember the name for sure but i want to say it was run by deer ridge.

Are you thinking of Taurus Golf? They also had a pro shop with many golf items to buy.
